Overview
As part of IEEE WIE ILS Tunisia 2026, participants will take part in two industry visits designed to connect academic knowledge with real-world professional practice. The visits to the Orange Digital Center (ODC) and the Honoris Simulation Medical Center will provide participants with first-hand exposure to digital innovation, emerging technologies, healthcare simulation, and technology-enabled professional environments.
Industry Visit 1: Orange Digital Center (ODC)
The visit to the Orange Data Center (ODC) offers participants an opportunity to discover Orange’s digital innovation ecosystem and its key programs. The visit combines a presentation and discussion session with guided tours of three strategic spaces: the Fablab, the School of Code, and the 5G Lab. This program provides participants with an overview of Orange’s initiatives in digital skills development, innovation, technology, and emerging digital solutions.

Industry Visit 2: Honoris Simulation Medical Center
As part of IEEE WIE ILS Tunisia 2026, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Medical Simulation Center, a state-of-the-art healthcare training facility that demonstrates how advanced technologies are transforming the future of medicine and education. Accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, the center provides immersive learning experiences through cutting-edge medical simulation technologies designed to enhance clinical training and patient care. This visit offers a unique perspective on the principles of Industry 5.0, where human expertise and advanced technologies work together to create more efficient, personalized, and sustainable systems. Participants will explore innovative solutions such as high-fidelity simulation environments, digital learning platforms, data-driven healthcare training, and technology-enabled medical education. Through direct exposure to these technologies, attendees will gain valuable insights into the role of human-centered innovation in healthcare, understand how emerging technologies are improving workforce readiness, and discover how Industry 5.0 concepts are being applied to create safer, smarter, and more resilient healthcare ecosystems.
