About Empowering Women in Industry 5.0.
The IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit (ILS) Tunisia 2026 is an international gathering designed to empower, inspire, and accelerate the careers of women in STEM. Hosted in the heart of Tunisia, this year’s summit centers on the transformative theme: “Empowering Women in Industry 5.0.” As we move beyond pure automation, the summit explores the next industrial frontier, one where technology, sustainability, and human-centric leadership converge. For students and early-career women, it offers rare direct access to industry leaders and entrepreneurs, opening their eyes to career possibilities, emerging fields, and the value of female leadership in shaping Industry 5.0.
About TANIT Concept
Inspired by the legacy of Carthage and the symbolism of Tanit, this event highlights a powerful truth: at the heart of one of history’s greatest civilizations stood a woman. Tanit was not only a deity, but she also embodied protection, vision, and continuity, representing feminine strength as a force that sustains and guides societies. Today, women engineers carry that same legacy forward. They lead innovation, design the systems that shape our world, and prove that leadership, resilience, and creation have always had a feminine face. This summit celebrates that continuity from a woman who symbolized a civilization to the women building the future.
